SCENE WRITERS are a pop band formed in 2010, internationally-oriented and based in Germany. The four musicians, lead singer Christian Hürter, drummer Sebastian Nouvortne, guitarist Michael Herold and bassist Marius Reiss were all born in Germany but partially having roots in the United Kingdom and the United States of America. With catchy melodies, unique songs and lyrics about the ups and the downs of life, many in the German public began to catch and the band started winning newcomer contests in Germany (Rockbuster) in late 2011. Their limited debut EP was commended by the music magazine "Visions" and was sold out immediately. Most recently the band were featured by the Volkswagen Sounfoundation as one of their talent bands in 2011 and they are nominated for the John Lennon Talent Award 2012.
